(Free patterns PDF at the bottom of the page, not for commercial use) It is a rather large file with many patterns included. All of them very old and out of print. Just for the personal use of my embroidery friends.
I hope that this post finds everyone well and stitching along, happily.
These summer days are long and busy. I certainly have not found the time to stitch as much as I would like to.
Today I would like to share some free PDF, embroidery patterns. I would also like to pose the question. Where do you find inspiration for your own embroidery projects? Do you prefer embroidery kits, where everything is already organized and the pattern set. Or do you prefer to design your own pattern or choose one from other sources? I would love to hear back from any fellow stitchers who might like to share.
Often times I become inspired, seemingly out of nowhere, to create something specific. It’s rather odd how it happens. I read a book recently which spoke of inspiration as if it were a type of energy which moves around looking for a vessel to express it. I kind of agree with this theory. The way that it hits me is rather magical. The book that I am referring to is called Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert and it is rather good (in case you are interested).
I hope that you enjoy these patterns. Please visit my Facebook page for more stitching inspiration. I try to share beautiful things that move me as well as my own work. And my stitching is improving but a work in progress. Such is life :).
